The BMF-12 is the second shotgun to be unlocked for the Heavy class. Compared to the Romket-178, it sports much better accuracy and is also the first shotgun which can equip a grip to improve accuracy. However, some players may still prefer the Romket for it's slightly higher fire rate. Like the Romket and the SMASS-410, the weapon is reloaded shell-by-shell, giving it a very long reload time if the player waits until the magazine is completely expended to begin reloading.
