}} Deep Impact rounds are a type of ammunition exclusive to sniper rifles. They decrease accuracy and clip size, but they increase the chance of getting a one-hit kill at long range, which is a massive advantage. The accuracy loss pales into insignificance compared to the damage boost that Deep Impact rounds grant, however, clip size can be an issue. As all sniper rifles have 10 rounds by default, Deep Impact rounds will cut this down to 5. This is seldom a problem with the X6 .338, since it's bolt-action, but with the other semi-auto snipers, the small mags could cost players a kill.
