The Executioner (GSC heavy) is an enemy type featured in Modern Combat 5: Blackout.

Modern Combat 5: Blackout

The Executioner is an enemy with a suit of thick mechanized armor, and armed with a heavy rotary machine gun (which resembles an M134 Minigun). They are very hard to kill with ordinary rounds, while explosives can be used to kill them more effectively.

There are two types of Executioners: the first type (which resembles a Kemono armor) has a lot of armor but can be killed eventually from rounds or explosives, while the second type (which resembles an Oni armor) has much thicker armor; to kill it the player must first stun it with rounds or explosives - which will expose the electronic core on its chest - and then fire at the core repeatedly (this process may have to be repeated several times, as the core will only be vulnerable for a limited time).

Campaign

An Executioner first appears in the fourth mission of Rinnoji Temple. The player can either wait for Tukura to show up in a vehicle and run it over, or to kill it themselves. Executioners appear periodically in other Campaign and Spec Ops missions.

In the final mission of Gilman HQ ( "Saunders".), two Executioners appear on the roof which must be killed before proceeding to a landing zone for extraction by Golden Sky.
