Credits... Main currency in this game had also provided a lot of debates of getting and using them properly.

Credits 16-0

Credits

Saving of credits, is not a big deal. You just save what you get. But what matters the most is the ways of getting them. So, getting to the point...

Introduction: 10000000[]

First of all, as of the new update, new variety of stuffs got into the game and players trying to figure out or ask "How to farm credits fast?" ... "What are the ways to farm up credits?" ... or they also ask some credits from others, commonly in-game global chat, "Someone give me some credits, I wish to try out the new stuffs" or something like this.

Second what I wanted to say is that, the information won't be constant as of the game undergoing constant changes all around. So, nothing exists permanent. And if available, can the blog be edited... but always confirm whether the information is not outdated.

Daily Tasks:[]

Credits 3-0

Daily Tasks

It's one of the two most basic methods however.

Completing Daily Tasks regularly is a very good and a important way to farm up credits.

The tasks ain't that difficult to complete, atleast most of them, for example, 'killing enemies in Campaign Missions'. But maybe completing 10 Multiplayer matches for a day in a busy schedule would be tiring.

End Match Rewards:[]

Credits 1

It's the second most basic method after Daily Tasks. I'll place this as the second because, there are many complaints that the credits drop after finishing a Multiplayer match became quite rare and hindered by other rewards in the End Match rewards. So, lets get into it.

After the player completes a match successfully, there is a Random Probability to get Credits as a reward.

For credits 2

Getting 20 credits after finishing a match as End Match Rewards

Here, if you complete more matches in short period of time, there are more possibility to get '10 (or 20 credits if lucky) credits in any of the matches you completed successfully. In-short, playing VIP, which normally completes in around 2-3 minutes is one of the shortest/quickest mode to complete a match, so you can play more matches, while compared to CTF or FFAs which takes a lot of time, atleast when compared to a normal VIP match.

Point here is, 'play VIP matches'. Or can simply play Team Battle too, instead of VIP, but VIP is better.

By just playing, you'll get some credits.

Weekly Season Rewards:[]

Credits 7
Season Pack Reward 1

For this, first you have to calibrate (play 5 matches, or 6 matches atleast for a safer point) per week/Season. You'll get around 80-200 based on the league you are in after when a Season ends. I dunno much about Silver and Bronze League much.

Along with other rewards like Diamond Dust/Tokens and Basic 5 classes' weapon Blue Prints up to Tier-7.

Season Pack Reward 2

Getting 150 credits from the Platinum League MK5 Pack

It's always suggested to rank up either in higher Platinum League or in Diamond League to get the maximum benefits from these.

Events[]

As of the current version, credits rewards are not put in events generally. But still, you can utilize the events properly so that, you get some good rewards before hand which would decrease the need of spending of credits on that particular item(regarding this topic of minimizing the use of credits, I'll be talking about it separately under separate heading).

The Blight Event[]

There is no direct credit rewards by playing in the Blight event. But you can get credits through two in-direct ways.

Credits in Blight Pass exclusive rewards[]

Credits 15

500 credits as reward for completing that particular mission

There are some good amount of credit rewards in the Blight pass exclusive rewards section. But this requires one to buy Blight Pass requiring real currency which normally is not advisable.

The Exchange of items to credits once the event ends[]

Once the event ends, the items you have in the Blight Mode like Ammo, Grenades and so will be turned into some credits which follows some hidden conversion rule.

The Ops Event[]

Credits 14

Sapper Ops event which was held during the time of October 9, 2019. Note down the Step 4.

There is no direct credit rewards by playing in any Ops event up-till now. But you can get credits through one in-direct way. And another thing is that, through these events, you can get some good stuffs which minimizes the use of the credits.

The Exchange of items to credits once the event ends[]

Once the event ends, the items and the progress(if you haven't completed the Class Ops type events fully) you have in the Ops Event like event tokens or Chocolate Bars(if it's Easter Ops), unopened event packs and so will be turned into some credits which follows some hidden conversion rule.

Small amount of credit rewards from Campaign:[]

This is quite like a End Match rewards in Ranked Matches in Multiplayer, but in lesser amount.

There are some possibilities of playing Campaign missions, mostly to complete those missions or/and for Daily Tasks

This is more like a miscellaneous/Extra one.

In-game Ads[]

Credits 18

Watch Ads for credits pop-up

You can watch in-game ads. After watching a successful ad, you'll get some credits.

Ads

Ads

A normal video expressing the watching of ads for rewards(while not included watching the entire to save watching time)

While, there are not only ads to watch for credits at one single place, there are ads for other places to watch for getting credits and as well as for other rewards.

Make use of watching ads to get some considerable amount of credits(and other resources like Combat Packs) everyday.

Tournaments and Giveaway hosted by game officials and Content Creators:[]

Stay active in checking in official Modern Combat 5 page across the Social medias like Facebook, Discord, YouTube and so to participate in giveaways they host in chance to win and get some good rewards. And also for getting to know about Tournaments been hosted by the game officials or the Content Creators to participate in them and can in those Tournaments for some rewards like credits.

Note: These stuffs may not be hosted every time. But when they occasionally host, check in.

Extra Notes:[]

Double Rewards[]

Credits 2

Double Rewards or simply what people call is that Double credits, has lesser possibility in getting, the chances increase when you move on/level-up higher in VIP Levels.

You can compare the drop percentage of VIP-1 and VIP-10 from the screenshot next to this.

But whatever, I don't suggest to pay real money for it, still its your choice, I suggest not to, atleast for now.

Squad Perks[]

Credits 3

Level-9 and Level-10 Squad Perks

Level-10 Squad, its perks increase the amount of credits we get from Daily Rewards and Tasks.

So, it's always suggested for the players to either find a good squad which is level-10 or make your current squad to it.

High Roller Bet[]

You can place 10 or 30 or 50 credits bet depending upon your wish or the opponent's for a duel match. If you win, you get back your bet and as well as the opponent's bet. But if you loose the match, you loose the credits and the opponent gets it. (While Duel ratings plays an important role in match-making)

These are bit risky though, You'll loose your credits you betted if you loose the the duel.

Still, some precaution and better practice, experience and skills, can do those.

And as of the current state of the game, especially for Windows and Android users, beware of the cheaters doing the high roller. Don't participate in their bets!

IAPs and Community type Events[]

Both are paying with real currency methods, I suggest not to spend your money in this, still they can also get you some credits which you need... So that's why it's included in here.

And not all Community Events does give credits, but some other rewards too. Still, I don't much suggest this method.

And there is a Vault too which is purchased by the real currency for some credits.

If you are decided to spend your credits for IAPs(In App Purchases), look in for some seasonal offers which increase your payout for the money you spend. While also consult with the Community Managers or Content Creators or the ones who had previously bought them, so that you can decide wisely or won't be making mistakes while making the IAP for Vaults or Community events.

Minimizing the use of credits:[]

Credits 8

Showing 2x Weapon Packs reward in Joint Effort

Reducing of credits usage by using the available sources and resources wisely. By looking at the screenshot aside, you can get to know that you can get 3x of Weapon Packs from Joint Efforts per week. For a month, you can get around 12x of weapon packs, where that 10x of weapon packs costs around 500 credits. So, if you are getting 12x of weapon packs through this method you are saving or minimizing the use of credits by 500 per month. With this, hope you guys had understood this concept first.

The ultimate aim behind this concept is to let to minimize the use, so you can save more.

Participating in Solo Events[]

Boosted Events[]

Credits 10

A Boosted Event with rewards of Sniper Rifle weapons' BPs and a Dot Immunity core as a Milestone reward for 750 points.

If you complete milestones in a Boosted Event, you'll get 1x of Tier-5 weapon Blueprint and 2x of Tier-6 and Tier-7 weapon Blueprints of first five basic classes ranging from Assault to Support and their secondaries. Use Jackpot and Watcher Boosters in Boosted events to complete these easier.

If possible, can compete for Leaderboard rewards too. But only if possible as work done to get them should not be too much than the rewards and also avoid competing in a tough leaderboard if you are low on Boosters and Diamond Dust.

Credits 13

Special Werewolf Themed Boosted Event which rewards Werewolf armor parts instead.

So, as of the current Solo events schedule, you get atleast one Boosted Event per week normally. So, through this, you can get some Tier-6 and Tier-7 weapon BPs of the desired weapon like Bsw-77, the Tier-7 Sniper Riffle.

And one more, these Boosted events also grant some cores and rarely any cosmetic items along with the Blueprints in milestone rewards which could also minimize the use of credits you spend to get these.

Pro Tournaments[]

Credits 9

Pro Tournament - Diamond League rewards

The Pro Tournament event's Leaderboard acts like Soldiers' League. So, again in this, participate and do good scores as it's essential so that you rank up higher for better rewards.

If you rank in Diamond League, you can 2x of Prestige weapon Blueprints which could boost your progress in getting/assembling those Prestige weapons.

Ops Events[]

Kommander Ops

Kommander Ops event as of Date January 27, 2020

The Class special and Easter Ops events are really a good place to get the featured class' weapons and featured cosmetic items(masks, camos, trinkets) in the latter type of event. These minimize the cost of opening that particular class' pack, for example Sapper packs which 10x pack costs 650 credits. And also the need of spending credits on opening costly Exotic packs or Black Market to get that cosmetic item.

Getting of cores[]

Calibrating Ranked Duel[]

The Ranked Duel session packs has 3 slots generally, and grants you 1 core in each of the two slots and the third slot grants a good amount of Diamond Dust.

Opening_Diamond_League_MK5_Duel_League_Pack

Opening Diamond League MK5 Duel League Pack

Opening a Diamond League Duel Pack.

Ranking up higher in Ranked Duel league will get you better variety(Epic) cores. So, it's essential to rank Diamond League for maximum benefits.

Getting of cores through Duel packs will minimize or there won't be any need of opening Armor packs to get cores which the 10x Armor Packs cost 900 credits.

Getting cores from Combat Packs[]

If you normally play or watch ads, getting of free combat packs would be little common. You can utilize this and get your desired cores through Combat Packs, as it grants one core per pack. But the drop rates for Epic cores are low, but still not to worry. With patience you can get them.

So, if you get your desired cores through duel credits and Combat packs, it'll save you 900 credits which you would spend on Armor packs.

Getting of armors up to MK4 type[]

Hazard Armor[]

Hazard armor
Hazard armor 2

You can get Hazard armor for free if you complete Campaign missions. Hazard armor which has two core slots should be better the default armors of first five classes.

It's advisable to play Campaign missions with Sabre, the Tier-1 Primary weapon of Recon class...so that you can unlock it's attachments in this process.

A MK4 Type Armor[]

There are some MK4 type armors. But the main priority should go to either Elite Nova, Kanata or Scavenger armor.

How_to_Buy_Armor_Parts_using_Diamond_Dust_or_Tokens

How to Buy Armor Parts using Diamond Dust or Tokens

Video demonstration for Buying of Armor parts with Diamond Dusts or Tokens.

You can buy armor parts with Diamond Dust or Tokens of armors up to MK4 type. So, you can fix one of the either above-mentioned three armors and unlock it's parts through this method.

Points to keep in mind in this process are: First purchasing one part would cost 90k Diamond Dust or 40 Tokens. You can get Tokens by leveling up and Diamond dust by playing matches in general. Secondly, there is cooldown timer after purchasing one part of 5 days. So, you have to wait for 5 days to purchase another armor part. So, in mean while collect enough Diamonds or Tokens if you are low on them for purchasing.

In this process, you'll get your desired armor(Elite Nova/Kanata/Scavenger) in 15 days.

So, now, as you got the MK4 Type armor and also desired cores. There will be no need of spending credits on Armor packs.

Purchasing weapon Blueprints[]

Buying_of_weapon_Blueprints_using_Shifter_BPs

Buying of weapon Blueprints using Shifter BPs

Buying of Weapon Blueprints with Shifter BP

As, the sub-heading suggests, you can purchase a weapon's Blueprints(just like armor parts) with Diamond Dust or Tokens or also can use Shifter Blueprints from the Blight Event. Here, you can fix a weapon(like Grinder or Whisperer) for which you can buy it's Blueprints, which can at last ultimately reduces overall weapon packs purchased to get that weapon. Or also if you just need only 1 or 2 Blueprints for it and doesn't want to purchase packs for it.

Avoiding spendings on unnecessary stuffs[]

Avoid spending of any resource such as credits, Diamond Dust in any form like usage in Black Market to buy some cosmetic items until you get the targeted items like Grinder or Whisperer and a MK4 type armor like Kanata/Elite Nova/Scavenger.

With an exception that, if that cosmetic item is available only for limited time exclusively. But even for this, it's better if you seek advise from the experienced players.

For all the below points, follow up only if you haven't yet got even Grinder or Whisperer and a MK4 type armor(Kanata/Elite Nova/Scavenger).

  • Don't spend credits uselessly in refreshing Black Market items.
  • Don't spend Diamond Dust on purchasing attachments of unnecessary weapons. Even for Whisperer or Grinder weapons, it's normally not advisable, as you can easily get the MKX Suppressor muzzle and Pulse scope attachments while their default sights too are quite good. With these, it's easy to get kills, and hence the required weapon score to unlock the Flash Hider muzzle attachment.
  • Don't spend credits on purchasing 'unknown weak' special variant(Golden/Jade/Lava) weapons from Shop Hub. Only if it is of either IMP-S, Bsw-77, Grinder, Whisperer or Lux Aeterna, you can buy. But these generally costs more than 2000 credits.
  • Don't spend credits on purchasing Combat packs. You can generally get free combat packs by just playing.
  • Avoid spending of credits to revive you when you get critically injured in a Campaign mission. You can get ads to revive you if get critically injured with an exception that, there is no ads in Steam version. Even if you die... you can redo them instead(if you patience and time).
  • Avoid spending credits in unlocking the next chapter in Campaign. Have patience, consult with any experienced players in doing the Campaign mission(s) which you need help. You can get all the stars from Campaign missions without much of hardwork.
  • Avoid spending credits on 'Bundle classes' until you get Grinder or Whisperer. The first five classes itself are quite enough for one to compete well in matches. In case if you want to try a special class, you can utilize the 'watch ads' to get one-day free trial of that particular class.
  • Avoid spending credits on rentals. There is generally no need of spending credits on renting weapons and armors.
  • Avoid spending too much credits on events like The Blight in purchasing ammo or so. Use Sering 9 or Red-34 in the Blight Event to finish up the matches easily without any need to purchase ammo/grenades or even the Adrenaline to revive you.
  • Avoid spending credits unless it's very much needed on Ops Events in saving Event Tokens or Chocolate Bars(Easter Ops). Calculate the playing time and spending accordingly so that, you spend the Event Tokens or CBs you earn directly at time itself.
  • Avoid spending credits on purchasing in Ops Events for Event Tokens or CBs. And also avoid spending credits for skipping the tasks in the same. With exception that, you can spend credits to skip few tasks which require you to compete 250+ matches if you think playing that many matches is too much as it could you tired.
  • Avoid spending credits in purchasing Pro Tournament tickets until if the need is for emergency purpose or very much required.
  • Avoid purchasing Exotic packs. If you want to purchase one... consult with experienced players before doing so.
  • Avoid spending credits in skipping a timer between purchases of armor parts or weapon blueprints.

The Need of Self Analysis[]

The final part of this whole topic is doing of Self Analysis.

First, doing of self-calculation of regarding the gaining of credits from the common methods above like per day, how much you can get and per week how much credits you can earn in total and so. This step is essential for you to plan up accordingly.

And starting planning up as you knew(after the calculations) that maximum you can get 'x' amount of credits per day and maximum of 'y' amount of credits per week. If you are real-life is busy one and get insufficient time to do all the methods, plan up according to do which set of methods to do first with the time you got to get good amount of credits per day.

Then, noting down your current progress... And after every week checking back the progress with the progress noted down the earlier week. And Analyse whether it's improvement or not. If improving, then how much you are improving, how much you had gained credits in one week.
