The first of a new series of SMART weapons. The Grinder incorporates a series of minute gyroscopic stabilizers, helping the weapon to achieve a more manageable recoil. This translates into the manufacturer being able to reduce the overall weight of the gun, ultimately resulting in an increased operator movement speed.

The Grinder features an above-average damage rating coupled with a nearly-unrivaled rate of fire (surpassed only by the Fers09 and Cas&Poll) - with an overall handling comparable to the KOG V. Like other Prestige weapons, the Grinder also comes with maximum armor penetration. The Grinder's combination of damage, armor penetration, and insane rate of fire give it a very fast time-to-kill against the best armors. Like other Prestige assault rifles such as the Enforcer, Stacker, and VLI-35, however, it cannot equip a grip to improve accuracy (though a silencer can be equipped to improve accuracy and mitigate recoil)

In addition, the Grinder features a unique SMART mechanic (similar to the Stacker's "stacking" mechanic) in which each successful hit increases the shooter’s movement Speed by 2%, which can be stacked up to 10 times. Each stack lasts up to 20 seconds. (The speed boost will also reset to 0 if the player swaps weapons).

+
  • High damage
  • Maximum armor penetration
  • Extremely high rate of fire
  • Fast time-to-kill
  • Decent base accuracy
  • Significantly better hip fire than the Enforcer
  • Large clip size
  • SMART mechanic
  • Cannot equip grip to improve accuracy
  • Fairly high recoil
  • Empties magazine quickly
  • Lower-than-average mobility (by default)
  • SMART booster resets every 20 seconds after hitting opponent
  • SMART mechanic resets to 0 if you swap weapons

Trivia[]

  • Following the weapons re-balancing in Update XVIII, the Grinder (along with many other high-tier weapons) received slight nerfs to damage and rate of fire, however these were reversed in subsequent hotfixes.
